Overview
Mafia home of the whale shark and an underwater paradise is primarily known for its ocean glory, the Marine Park which was created to protect its reefs. The diving, fishing, and snorkeling here are the best in the entire region, infinitely better than those to be found on Zanzibar (although note that the beaches on the main island are not nearly as good as Zanzibar’s).
The atmosphere of all the islands is one of adventure: days are spent fishing or exploring exposed sand bars and untouched reefs. A visit to Kilindoni (the main Town / City of Mafia Island for a City tour, dhow cruise, walks along the smooth sand beaches in addition to swimming and snorkeling with Whale sharks are the highlights of this tour.

Itinerary
Arrive in Mafia on scheduled domestic flight meet and transfer to Mafia Island Lodge arriving in time for lunch. Some activities can be arranged or Relax at Mafia Island Lodge or Kinasi Lodge (FB)
