Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the airport in Dar es Salaam or pickup from your hotel, you will be picked up by our safari guide and drive to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro, a roughly 4 hours, you will have breakfast stop in Chalinze before continuing with a drive to the Park. Upon your arrival at the park check-in at your lodge for lunch and later go for evening and sunset game drives. In Mikumi National park expect to see mammals such as Lions, Buffalos, wild dogs, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos, and numerous bird species.
Dinner and overnight stay within the park at Mikumi Wildlife safari Camp.
Early the morning leave for sunrise Game drives starting from 06:30 am for about 3 hours before breakfast which will be taken within the park. After breakfast will continue with your game drives, watch out to spot the big 5 animals except for the rhinoceros which are missing in this park and other wildlife species. Return to the lodge at Mikumi Wildlife Safari Camp for lunch, you will have chances to see animals as they roam the waterholes while having your meals. In the afternoon you will set off for your journey back to Morogoro / Dar es Salaam.
